A leaked video from a Microsoft division showed how they would have designed the iPod box!
Since Steve Jobs returned to Apple, the packaging became very clean and simple. Just look at the picture on the right. On the other hand, the Microsoft packaging team had grown frustrated by all the requirements and burdens that they had in designing their stuff. In their frustration, they made the video below, which is a humorous look at how they would be asked to re-do the iPod packaging if it were a Microsoft product.
To Microsoft's credit, after the video leaked, they underwent changes in the way they approach their packaging and took some lessons from the video.
