Sears used to sell Cocaine!

In the early 1800s Cocaine and other opiates used to be unregulated drugs. There was no research done on the drugs so they appeared harmless.

In the 1890s Sears (at the time known as Sears & Roebeck) catalogue you could purches a syringe and Cocaine for only $1.50.

It wasn't until the beginning of the 20th century that Cocaine became linked with crime and soon after became illegal.
