Although "Baby Gaga" ice cream was so popular that it sold out on its first day of sale, government officials have confiscated the Icecreamists restaurant's supplies. Although the milk has been screened according to blood donorship guidelines, it is still not clear whether the dessert is actually safe for human consumption.

While pasteurization takes care of the bacterial side of things, there is still a chance that viruses such as hepatitis may be present. The consumption of human food by humans is inherently riskier than eating animal food, and even blood tests are not always 100% accurate.
