At my friend's funeral today, we were standing in the cemetary listening to the preacher.

About halfway through the preacher's speech, a little boy behind me suddenly asked his dad, "He's fine, why are they crying? He's in a better place!"

It made me smile.

Little kids who understand better than adults GMH.

My best friend's girlfriend, who he's in love with, hates me.

A few weeks ago, he promised he wouldn't listen if she told him not to be my friend.

He came up to me today, looking sad, and told me she said that.

As I was about to cry, he said, "So I dumped her. I love you more." His love GMH.
