There is a treehouse that is over 90 feet tall!
The tree that the house resides in is 80 feet tall and over 12 feet long. This tree comfortably holds an 11 floor, 8000 square foot, over 250,000 nail wonder that would put every eight year old's tree house to shame. The house stands at 97 feet tall, which means that it is 17 feet taller than the tree it resides in.
The creator of the treehouse, Horrace Burgess, is 56 years old and has said that he put over $12,000 into the building of the structure. Also, Burgess says that he is not done making his monument in the trees. He’s not stopping at floor #11! Do you want to move into this treehouse? I know I do.

Snipers are trained to shoot between heartbeats!
The reason for this is that snipers don’t want the blood flow to mess up their fingers when aiming and shooting. While this is a smart method, it can become difficult when in harsh conditions, like extreme heat.
As the body gets hotter, the heart rate also increases. However, there are techniques that snipers use to keep their heart rate under control to get the shots they need. For instance, they breathe steadily, relax, clear their mind, and just think about the task at hand. To learn more, watch this video:
Silly string is used in the US and British Armies!
In their Iraq missions, troops from these countries developed a way to search for traps. They sprayed open doorways and halls with silly string to detect and maneuver around tripwires, preventing explosions!
How does it do this? silly string is sticky enough to latch itself onto wires without weighing too much and setting off traps. At the peak of the War in Iraq, people held silly string drives to send the canned goop to troops overseas! To read more on the properties of silly string and other uses, click the Source below!
You cannot legally watch MLK’s “I Have A Dream Speech” for free!
It's copyrighted material, and it costs $10 to get any video/audio or $20 for the entirety of the speech that changed the United States’ history forever. Dr. King’s family owns the rights to his speech until the year 2038!
But why is it copyrighted? Usually speeches are in the public domain, such as Obama’s “Yes We Can” speech. However, The estate of Dr. King sued Twentieth Century Fox in 1963 for selling records of his speech without permission. Since then, the speech has been disputed to be in the public domain as well as staying copy-written. What do you think? Should speeches be automatically in the public domain? (by Ross) In 1984, the Baltimore Colts secretly moved to Indianapolis!
Because of the then broken-down Memorial Stadium, the Colts kept lobbying to have their stadium remodeled. Some of the upgrades needed included replacing over 37,000 seats in the stadium and not enough office space for the Colts' employees.
In the middle of the night on March 29th, 1984, the mayor of Indianapolis ordered 15 buses to take the Colts to their new home in Indiana. The team, now called the Indianapolis Colts, was enticed by the Indianapolis mayor's offer of playing in the Hoosier Dome, a $77.5 million stadium with 57,980 seats!
