Charlie Sheen stayed awake for 48 hours to get a 'wasted' look for a role in a movie!

Charlie Sheen wasn't always a millionaire bachelor who is either always drunk, or high on a drug called Charlie Sheen. In fact, he started off as a very low, comedic actor, being featured in ONE scene in the film Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

In this scene, Charlie Sheen's character is called "boy in police station" and he is essentially extremely intoxicated and messed up on all sorts of drugs. In order to prepare for this very MINOR role, Charlie Sheen stayed up for 48 hours straight in order to make himself look like a sloppy mess, and 'wasted'.

If he did that much preparation for this tiny role, we can only imagine how much preparation he did for his role in Two and a Half Men.

Scientists are worried because Venus' rotation has slowed down!

Venus, the second planet from the sun, was originally measured to rotate the sun every 243.0185 Earth days. Unfortunately, scientists have discovered that over the past 16 years, that number has changed. The planet Venus has slowed down it's yearly rotation by a total of 6.5 minutes!

This number may seem small and insignificant, but consider the fact that Earth's yearly rotation varies only a few MILLISECONDS every year, depending on how extreme our weather conditions are.

Scientists are guessing that the reason for this dramatic slowed down cycle is because of the intense weather conditions that have shifted most of the planet's materials, dramatically altering how the sun's gravity is effecting the planet.

An artist uses a realistic drawing of himself as his drivers license photo!

Swedish artist Fredrik Saker drew the picture to the right by hand. The 29-year-old wanted to prove that his drawings were good enough to pass as photos, so he decided to submit the self-portrait as his photo to use for his driver’s license.

He says he spent 100 hours working on the picture to make sure that every tiny aspect matched real life as much as possible. When he was done, he took a photo of the painting and submitted it to the Swedish Transport Board.

The Swedish Transport Board later responded when the news became widespread, saying that the picture looked so much like his previous ones that they had no reason to question it.

In 2004, Pizza Hut fired a delivery driver who shot and killed a robber while on the job!

Ever since pizza became mainstream in the United States, there have been increased efforts to cook and deliver pizza in the fastest way possible. Most times this includes a driver, which is one of the most common jobs in America, yet many people don’t think about the potential dangers pizza delivery drivers can face!

Because drivers are required to approach the door of those who ordered, it can often be dangerous in sketchy neighborhoods, and sometimes people are even deliberately called to be a target. Delivery drivers have been assaulted, kidnapped, robbed, or even raped or killed on the job and so many carry guns to protect themselves!

In 2004, Pizza Hut decided to fire one of their employees who was being robbed and shot and killed his assailant! The reason they cited was because it had a company policy against employees carrying guns, yet had he not had one he could have been robbed. What do you think about their ruling? Tell us in the comments!

A man suffered from a heart attack after a freak accident, then won a car from a scratch-off lottery and later $250,000 when he reenacted the scratchoff for TV!

Australian truck driver Bill Morgan wasn't having the best day. First, he was nearly crushed to death by a freak truck accident at work, and while the accident itself was not fatal, it did leave Bill with a heart condition.

When he took the required medication, Bill suffered an allergic reaction that caused a powerful heart attack which left him clinically dead for 14 minutes. After being revived by doctors, he slipped into a coma.

He remained in the vegetative state for 12 days during which time his family was advised to unplug life support twice. Then, he unexpectedly woke up without any permanent damage. After the recovery, he landed a higher paying job and became engaged to his long time girlfriend.

A week later, Morgan purchased scratch-off lottery ticket, and from it he won a car. But his lucky streak didn't just end there. The news station decided to do a human interest story on Bill. They tried to get him to recreate the ticket-scratching scene. Turns out that the ticket Bill purchased for the re-enactment ended up being a $250 000 winner. It all went down on live TV.
