A high-school dropout went to Law School and became a lawyer to prove her brother’s innocence in court!

Kenny Waters was considered guilty of murder, until he was finally proven innocent by his little sister. He was thought to have stabbed a woman by the name of Katherina Reitz Brow more than 30 times in order to steal her jewelry and cash on the morning of May 21 1980. He received a life sentence. This prompted his sister to sentence herself to proving his innocence.

She put herself through college and law school in order to help with her brother’s case. In 2001, she teamed up with the Innocence Project; an initiative designed to exonerate those who have been wrongfully convicted. They found DNA evidence which conclusively proved that Waters could not have committed the murder.

He was exonerated in May of 2001; 18 years after his conviction. Sadly, he passed away only six months after his release. The real perpetrator has not been found yet.

Contaminated pork meat in China glows blue in the dark!

The meat was still edible and called 'avatar-meat'! A family in China bought some pork at the local market to make dinner with it. They set the leftover pork on the table and went to bed. Later that night, the mother got out of bed to use the restroom and saw the meat glowing blue on the table.

In the morning, the pork appeared normal again. A reporter came over and examined the pork and called some food experts who had no idea what was going on.

Someone who touched the pork could be seen with a light blue glow on their own hands, too. The Changsha Food Safety Commission mobilized the efforts of the business, livestock, industry and commerce, health, and other departments and at the same time invited experts and professors to participate in the investigation.

Through scientific bacteria cultivation separation, experts discovered “blue glow pork” was caused by secondary bacterial contamination called phosphorescent bacteria.

The meat is safe to eat once it has been heated and cooked through. It was quickly nicknamed “avatar-meat”!

An entire movie was shot in Disney World without Disney knowing about it!

"Escape from Tomorrow" is a low-budget, black and white indie flick. It takes place entirely inside Disney World. In the surreal fantasy film, one of the characters loses his sanity after riding It's a Small World (more like reality, no?). Later, he is tasered and held inside Spaceship Earth.

What's really interesting about the film is that Disney did not know that it was being shot. It was secretly shot after the director bought tickets for everyone and filmed the actors at the theme park. Some say that actors read their scripts from their cellphones.
