## If you keep counting the letters of any number, you’ll always end up at 4! Check this out

The title problem sounds extremely confusing; however the actual puzzle that we’re talking about is rather simple. If you follow these steps correctly, no matter what number you pick, you will always end up with the number 4 in as few as 5 steps or less. By the way, you have to spell the numbers in English for this to work!

Here are the steps: Pick a number between 1 and 99, and write it as a word, and then count the letters. However many letters you counted is the new number you must write. Write that number down, and count the letters again, and so on and so on. Within 5 numbers, you will end up at the number 4 every time! Try it!

## In 2004, 200 women stormed a court room and killed the man on trial! Learn why

At 3p.m. on August 13 2004, a man by the name of Akku Yadav was attacked by 200 women in the middle of a court room! The women stabbed him over 70 times, threw chilli powder in his face, threw stones at him, and cut off his genitals with a vegetable knife!

But, why’d they do it? The 200 women that stormed the court room were all raped by Akku Yadav, and when they tried to file a police report in Punjab where the incidents occurred, the officers just laughed in their faces. Thus, they decided to take a stand and attack Yadav while on trial.

He was also a local thug, and he and his gang were responsible for terrorizing around 300 families for over a decade! He barged into their homes demanding money, and would then abuse the families. All of the women claim to be responsible for his death, and have asked police officials to arrest them all. However, only a woman named Usha Narayane is on trial for Yadav’s murder.

## There’s a life-threatening disorder that makes pee smell like maple syrup!

The maple syrup urine disease affects infants and is so named because it causes the urine to have a sweet maple syrup scent. The disease is technically called branched-chain ketoaciduria. It is an autosomal recessive metabolic disorder affecting branched-chain amino acids. There are various forms of the disease and the classic form is the most serious. The disease affects 1 out of 180,000 infants.

Interestingly, the disease affects Amish, Mennonite, and Jewish children the most. Babies affected by the disease eat poorly, vomit, become dehydrated easily, lethargy, have seizures and neurological decline. It’s a very serious disease and can be fatal if not properly managed. Dietary restrictions and frequent blood chemistry testing is done.

Apart from the sweet smelling urine, the ear wax can also be affected by a sweet smell. Infants appear healthy at first, but if the disease goes untreated, then brain damage and death can occur.

## 'Rubber Duckie,' by Ernie from Sesame Street, won a Grammy nomination and reached #16 on the charts in 1970.

Rubber Duckie is Ernie’s signature song, which, as you might guess, is a tribute to his Rubber Duckie. It had the distinction of being both number 16 on Billboard’s “Hot 100 Singles” in 1970 and being nominated for a Grammy for Best Recording For Children (which was beaten by The Sesame Street Book & Record).

The first instance of the song appearing came in episode 78, when Ernie sang the song in his bathtub. The song has since been rerecorded a few times with different voice actors, but the same rubber duckie has always been used to match the sound of the original.

Other artists have also covered the song. Bob McGrath and Little Richard have both done recordings at one point. Most recently, the song was hummed in a 2010 episode. You can listen to the song here.

## A man on death row wanted SpaghettiOs as his last meal, he called the media when he didn’t get them!

It is a common practice that death row inmates get to choose their final meal, and they are usually given what they ask for. Enter Thomas J. Grasso, a man who was convicted of two murders, and sat on death row in 1995. All he wanted for his last meal was SpaghettiOs, and he was not given them.

He was so upset by this his last words were “I did not get SpaghettiOs, I got spaghetti. I want the press to know about this.” What Thomas J. Grasso got instead was two dozen steamed mussels, two dozen steamed clams, a double cheeseburger from Burger King, a half-dozen barbequed spare ribs, two strawberry milkshakes, one-half of a pumpkin pie with whipped cream, diced strawberries, and he even ate a 16-ounce can of spaghetti-meatballs. But hey, it wasn’t SpaghettiOs
