The vegetable was John Goodman’s favorite food on the show so it was bound to be mentioned, whether it was creamed, canned, or on the cob. Roseanne also had corn cobs hanging on the wall in her kitchen, so they were often visible in these shots.

There is a ghost town in Oregon called ‘Idiotville’!




Idiotville is a former logging community located about 50 miles northwest of Portland. Most of its former residents worked at a nearby logging camp called Ryan’s Camp, which was located in the middle of nowhere. Due to the camp’s remote location, locals said that only an idiot would work and live there, and thus, a legendary place name was born.

When the flight attendant microwaves a snake in Snakes on a Plane, one of the microwave’s buttons says ‘Snake’!




What an oddly convenient presetting to have when in that situation...and even stranger still, pressing the button yielded 2 minutes and 10 seconds of time, when only a few seconds were required!
