Jeff Bridges’ crotch was too big for Tron!

In the movie Tron, Jeff Bridges filled out his computer outfit a little bit too much. The bulge of his crotch was too big, and he was forced to wear a dance belt to conceal it. A similar thing happened years later with Brandon Routh in the new Superman movie; in that case, his crotch was made smaller with computers.

Though the film itself was an initial failure, the arcade video games based on the movie were a great success. They actually out-grossed the film! The cult success to the movie led to Tron Legacy, which was released a couple of decades later!

Bob Ross, the guy from Joy of Painting, was an Army drill sergeant!

It’s hard to believe that the man who taught the nation how to paint strokes on an easel used to yell at army recruits! Ross said in interviews that before his show, he held the positions in the military where you had to be “mean” and “tough”.

He was mostly responsible for telling men to clean, make the bed, and yell at them if they didn’t do it. After his service, Ross vowed never to yell at anyone again because of his military experience.

Even then, his passion for painting showed: during his service in the Air Force, Ross would often practice his painting when he had some free time. Ross developed his “speed painting” skills because he wanted to create paintings but had very short breaks!

The only road connecting Gibraltar to Spain shuts down every time a plane lands!

Winston Churchill Avenue, the only road that connects Gibraltar to Spain, happens to intersect with the Gibraltar Airport runway. Movable barricades close when an airplane lands or takes off and shuts down the road each time.

The government announced in 2009 that another road would be built and tunneled under the runway for 350 meters to fix the problem. The new road, a dual carriageway, will connect the customs checkpoint with Devil’s Tower Road.

In the meantime, can you imagine how scary it must be to just chill while a 747 just strolls by?
