The girl who voices Dora the Explorer is actually 15 years old

The original voice of the Hispanic girl was Kathleen Herles but became too old to properly voice Dora, so Caitlin Sanchez was chosen to replace after competing against 600 other girls!

In 2010, Sanchez filed a lawsuit against Nickelodeon stating that she was being heavily underpaid for her work and doing much overtime voice acting without getting paid extra. Nickelodeon responded by firing her because of her voice changing like the original Dora and has been replaced!
