Walt Disney made a short film with Salvador Dali.
The film stayed unfinished, until was finally put together 56 years after they began. It features a woman, a statue, and other objects in a desert. The only sound is from a sad song and there is no dialogue. The film is called Destino and is somewhat hard to follow.
The woman seems to be mourning something and dances around a lot. Disney has described the short film as a simple tale of a woman searching for her true love. Dali was a painter who is famous for painting melting clocks and the collaboration with Disney is quite an odd one. The project was abandoned after 8 months of work due to financial problems.
