Walt Disney made a short film with Salvador Dali.

The film stayed unfinished, until was finally put together 56 years after they began. It features a woman, a statue, and other objects in a desert. The only sound is from a sad song and there is no dialogue. The film is called Destino and is somewhat hard to follow.

The woman seems to be mourning something and dances around a lot. Disney has described the short film as a simple tale of a woman searching for her true love. Dali was a painter who is famous for painting melting clocks and the collaboration with Disney is quite an odd one. The project was abandoned after 8 months of work due to financial problems. While the popular show revolves around Don Draper and seems like a boys’ club, the majority of the writing staff for the AMC program is female!

The women in the writers’ room give an edge to the storylines of Mad Men and give many of the female characters depth. There are also many female directors working on the show.

Unfortunately, women in the entertainment industry aren’t as common as men. For example, only 13% of the 8000 registered directors are women. Also, about 80% of all TV shows in the ‘07-’08 season had no female writers.

There is an American Stonehenge with rules for after an apocalypse!

Located in Elbert Country, Georgia, these stones feature ten rules for an “Age Of Reason” including rulings like having a population under 500 million (92.5% of humans would be dead) and a single world government.

The stones feature 12 languages including English, Spanish, Swahili, Hebrew, and Egyptian hieroglyphics! The stone feature additional information such as where the North Star is, and positions of the sun throughout the winter and summer solstices, as well as the equinox.

But who wrote the rules and guidelines on these stones? There is an author credit to a man named R.C. Christian. Many historians believe that this is a reference to Christian Rosenkreuz, the founder of the Rosicruician Order. This group has published three manifestos which discuss a new world order and a new intellectual and political age.

Danica McKellar of The Wonder Years is a math wiz!

Danica has an impressive list of accomplishments. After success in the show The Wonder Years (1988) she continued her education and graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA with a degree in mathematics.

She even accomplished proving a new math theorem called the Chayes-McKellar-Winn Theorem! She has continued acting and even directing. She wrote, directed, and produced her short film, Speechless. Danica is also fluent in French and is a two time New York Bestselling author.
