Nicolas Cage starred in the thriller “Trespass” and lived out such an experience in his own home. At the Toronto Film Festival to promote the film, Cage had his own creepy trespassing story. He was living in Orange County at the time with his wife and his two-year-old child. His kid was in another room.
He woke up at 2 am next to his wife. He looked at the foot of the bed and saw a naked man wearing nothing but Cage's leather jacket eating a fudgesicle just standing there. Cage managed to talk him out of the house. The man apparently had mental problems, so Cage didn't press charges.
As for the film, “Trespass” came out in 2011 and Cage starred alongside Nicole Kidman. The storyline is that they are held for ransom and things go from bad to worse as the discovery of betrayal and deception unfolds. The film did decent for itself, but unlike Cage’s personal story, this one involves guns and heists and a big mess of events.
