One of Justin Timberlake's most liberating experiences was going to ComiCon dressed as Ernie!

In the picture that corresponds to this article, you'll see a very sketchy Ernie standing next to a very sketchy Bert. Ernie, the one on the left, is actually Justin Timberlake wearing a costume at Comic Con.

The reason he chose to wear such a ridiculous costume is because he wanted to, for the first time, enjoy what it is like to walk around in public and not be recognized by anyone. Justin says that his experience at Comic Con was the first time he went completely unrecognized for over 10 years!

So, why comic con? Well, it's one of the few places that someone can dress up in a disguise and seem completely normal. Timberlake says he struggled to walk around in public his whole life, but with the release of the song 'Dick in a Box' on Saturday Night Live, he said his fame skyrocketed!
