LEGO has a secret vault with all the sets they've ever made!
It's called the Lego Memory Lane, and it's a secret vault that has every Lego set ever manufactured. There are more than 4,720 sets inside it. If you're lucky, you can see it during a tour of the Lego history museum.
LEGO started back in 1932 when Ole Kirk Christiansen founded a company to manufacture toys. The name was picked later, and it came from combining the Danish phrase Leg Godt, meaning "Play Well." The modern LEGO brick evolved throughout the years until the 50s, when the manufacturing process was standardized and lasts to this day.
Times can be tough, especially for teachers in Russia. Whenever the economy was suffering back in 2009, teachers in rural towns were getting paid their wages three to four months late. The classrooms they taught in often didn’t turn their heating on until mid winter when everyone was shivering. Under a law that was overturned in 2006, Tennessee used to impose a tax on illegal drugs.
This Red Tibetan Mastiff breed named Big Splash is now considered to be the most expensive pet dog in the world. The 11-month-old dog was purchased by a coal baron from the north of China for a whopping $1.5 million. Big Splash or Hong Dong in Chinese is a perfect specimen according to it’s breeder, Lu Liang.
