Raindrops are actually not in the shape of tears!

Society has always compared rain to falling tears, which has led to many believing the shape of raindrops to be in a similar shape. In fact, they are not at all. When a raindrop begins to fall it starts in nearly a perfect circle, and then begins to change in shape.

Because of air resistance and speed, the drop morphs into a shape of a flattened bottom with a curved top, or similar to a hamburger bun! Scientists used high-speed cameras to intricately watch falling raindrops, and were surprised at the odd shape the drops form.

The founder of the Uncertainty Principle’s gravestone reads “He lies here, somewhere.”

The Uncertainty Principle was theorized by Werner Heisenberg. As a joke, his gravestone has “He lies here, somewhere” written on it. The principle states that one may not know the position or momentum of a particle simultaneously.

Jack Horkheimer who was the presenter of the astronomy programme ‘Star Gazer’ had a funny saying written on his gravestone, too. It read “Keep looking up was my life’s admonition. I can do little else in my present position.”

Other types of rare eye colors are Red (mostly found in albinos), Violet (Red with a blue reflection), Amber, and Black (not deep brown, but black)

Depending on external factors, like distance and angle, the eyes are one of the first things you notice about someone when you first meet them. Do you have any of these colors? Let us know in the comments.

The medical name for a runny nose is "rhinorrhea".

Rihnorrea is normally referred to as having a runny nose. This could be caused by allergies, broken or injured nose, sinus cancer, respiratory infections amongst other causes. People who suffer from rihnorrea could also experience nosebleeds, and other symptoms that are related to the common cold. Usually rhinorrea doesn’t require any direct treatment.

Did you know that brain fluid, or cerebrospinal fluid, could also lead to runny nose. The most common cause is blunt trauma. The leak is a result of a laceration in the brain to the area where the fluid is located.
