There are two time capsules set to open in the year 6939

The first capsule from 1939 is filled with everyday items from the decade including seeds, metals, fabrics, magazines, and cigarettes!

The second one from 1965 included similar items that people thought best encapsulated (no pun intended) the ‘60s. One unique feature of the 1965 capsule is a guest book that all who attended the Westinghouse exhibit in 1964 got to sign. Signers even got a pin that stated their names would be in the capsule for 5000 years!
