MI6 hacked an Al-Qaeda website and replaced instructions on how to make a bomb with a cupcake recipe!

The U.S. and British intelligence independently planned attacks on an Al-Qaeda magazine. Both agencies have various cyber-weapons like computer viruses to use on enemy states and terrorists.

The online magazine is produced by the radical preacher Anwar Al-Awlaki. His associate, Samir Khan, of North Carolina assists him. Both are now thought to be in Yemen, where they are capitalizing on the country's chaos.

MI6 switched the information in the 67-page magazine from articles on how to make bombs in the kitchen to some of America’s best cupcake recipes.

They were also able to successfully remove some articles written by Osama Bin Laden. The victory was short-lived, as Al-Qaeda was able to reissue the original magazine two weeks later.

They’ve since written 4 more editions of the magazine. British intelligence continues to try to attack online outlets of Al-Qaeda. The magazine is clearly for Jihad extremists and those aspiring to be jihadists.
