A man has set 311 Guinness World Records in his lifetime.

56-year-old Ashrita Furman of New York City has set 311 records since 1979 and still currently holds 123 of them (including the record for the most records held at one time)! His first record was for the most jumping jacks performed - a whopping 27,000! Since that time he has often chosen to set his records at historic landmarks, such as the fastest mile on a kangaroo ball at the Great Wall of China or when he jumped rope on a pogo stick the most times in one minute at Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

I recommend just googling his name and checking the image results. It's fun to look at the pictures and try to guess what obscure record he is trying to do.
