1 mg of Viagra (just 2% of a regular dose) is enough to keep a vase-ful of cut flowers from wilting for as much as an extra week! It turns out that both men and plants suffer from decreased production of cyclic GMP as they age. This results in a loss of firmness for both the plants and for the men’s penises. Don’t expect Viagra to be revolutionizing the floral industry, though. It still costs a lot more than other chemicals that keep plants fresh, like nitric oxide gas.
