Half-Female, Half-Male Butterfly Born In London's Natural History Museum.

A rare half-female, half-male hatched from its cocoon at London's Natural History Museum. Only 0.01% of all insects are gynandromorphs (organism with male and female characteristics), so this creature is very rare. Since it has a life span of only a month, there’s not much time for people to see it. This Great Mormon butterfly is evenly split down the middle, with one side male and one side female. It has one colorful female wing, and one dark male wing. It also has half of a male’s sex organs and half of a female’s!
