Ever wonder who has the largest bounty on their head? It’s not who you’d expect!

A common misconception is that Osama Bin Laden held the record for the world’s highest bounty before his death at $25 million, but there’s actually someone who more than doubles that! His name is Father Zakaria Botros, and Al-Qaeda has placed a $60 million bounty on his head for converting countless followers of Islam to Christianity. Botros has been labeled “public enemy number one” by Arabic newspapers and is currently in hiding because of the bounty on his head. 

Although Botros is currently in hiding, he says he doesn’t fear the threats because it just proves his message of Christ is working. He became widely known in 2003 when he began to broadcast his own Evangelical show, and since then calls to renounce his Egyptian citizenship have grown exponentially on the basis of treason for denouncing Islam.
