The poll found that men believed, on average that $108 was an appropriate cost for a night out, while women thought that somewhere in the range of $27 to $85 was appropriate. This means that men overestimated the amount in the range between 27% and 300%!
The other interesting find is that the consensus among women was that the most memorable dates did not involve a lot of money.
