Eccentric people live longer and report having higher levels of happiness!

Eccentric people are labeled as having the personality type of schyzotypal. It was diagnosed after researchers noticed that relatives of schizophrenics tended to have odd behaviors and beliefs.

Often times schyzotypal people respond oddly in social environments and have inappropriate emotional responses frequently. They are often highly intelligent and talented individuals. Many Harvard students score high on the schyzotypal test.
