There’s an international group trying to resurrect the Roman Republic, culture and all!

Nova Roma is an international organization dedicated to the study and restoration of the ancient Roman culture. They are trying to bring back their system of religion and gods, art, virtues, and culture. They call the time of Rome the golden times and hold to the idea that Rome was the beginning of the western world as we know it and therefore crucial to return to. 

They don’t want to conquer anything with swords or legions, rest assured. They simply want to spread the knowledge and influence of Rome through example. They have their own website dedicated to teach others of their cause. They have discussion forums and a community portal. Their current events include Roman Reenactor Camps in Hungary and a game-cooking competition of Roman cuisine.

They also push the Roman religion and its uniqueness before being tainted by Greek mythology and religion. The frequently have major and minor events to allow everyone to participate in Roman daily life.
