On average, blondes take longer to get ready than brunettes.
Natural blondes have more hair than brunettes, too. It makes sense, because hair protects our scalps from the UV rays of the sun. Brunettes have more melanin and pigment in their hair which covers their scalp better than blondes. So, blondes need the extra hair.
Another study done in 2009 by Cornell University concluded that blonde waitresses earn much higher tips than brunettes. They surveyed 482 waitresses and found it to be a consistent trend. However, brunettes are perceived as being more intelligent at a first meeting.
Interestingly enough, girls who dye their hair lighter actually feel more fun. They are proven to go out more and feel more confident and youthful.
