In 2009 a man hired the Russian mob to extradite the doctor responsible for the death of his daughter.
He was kidnapped and smuggled out of Germany and into France so he could be put on trial for killing Kalinka Bamberski in Bavaria in 1982. Ultimately, he was found guilty.
In 1982, Krombach had given Kalinka an injection which he claimed was iron to help improve her suntan. It was actually an unknown drug which made her pass out, and ultimately suffocate.
Krombach had already been tried in Germany in 1987, and the investigators had ruled that there was insufficient evidence to charge him. Extradition to France was refused, and Krombach stayed in Germany.
Andre Bamberski, the victim's father, tried many different tactics to get Krombach in France, but ultimately hired the mob and had him left bound and gagged next to a court house in France so that he could be retried before a judge.
Andre Bamberski now faces kidnapping charges as a result. He says it was justified because Krombach would have escaped justice. Do you think he was justified in doing this?
