A man was fined for paying a fee in pennies!

Utah resident Jason West was frustrated after a medical clinic insisted that he owed them $25. As revenge he showed up with the entire amount in pennies! That’s 2500 pennies! The clinic staff was not amused and, despite the fact that pennies are totally legitimate currency, they called the cops on him. He was charged with disorderly conduct, and may face another fine of $140, or 14,000 pennies (not to give him any ideas or anything).
