A Japanese woman stayed in a man's house without him noticing for over a year!

A 58 year old woman in Tokyo named Tatsuko was arrested after a year of living undetected in a man’s home. The house owner became suspicious that he was being repeatedly stolen from when he noticed his food missing from his fridge.

He installed security cameras to figure out what was going on. He caught images of the woman walking around the house while he wasn’t home. He called the police, thinking she was a burglar. After searching the house, the police found the woman in a top cupboard made for storing bedding and mattresses. She had made a little bedroom for herself there. The woman was eventually charged with trespassing.
