A featherless penguin was dressed up in a wetsuit so he could fit in with his friends.

The Jurong Bird Park is home to quite an oddity - a Humboldt penguin that is losing all his feathers! Though you wouldn’t really think of feathers when it comes to penguins, they are integral to keeping these birds healthy, warm, and happy. To counteract his moulting, our 10-year-old balding buddy has been given his own piece of customized clothing - a tiny little bird-sized wetsuit! The suit provides the penguin with warmth and insulation while promoting the growth of new feathers and keeping it from shedding the few it still has!
