Thanks his role in the movie the A-Team, Bradley Cooper learned to reload his M4 rifle in less than 4 seconds!

The movie the A-Team was about four veterans who had been framed for a crime and their attempt to clear their names. It was a film released in 2010, based off of a television series. There was also a similar series of comic books called A-Team: Shotgun Wedding starting in 2010.

When Bradley Cooper was filming for the A-Team he had a lot of training about how to handle weapons. He turned out to be very good with weapons and became very “efficient” in handling them. So much so that he could reload his M4 rifle in less than 4 seconds. His ability to reload quickly was filmed, but didn’t actually make the film, getting cut in the editing stage.

The phrase A-team, though the title of the movie, is only used once. Interestingly, it isn’t even said by the main characters, but rather by the judges in the military court. It isn’t a joke or pun of sorts, it’s just shorthand for the very official title of “United States Army Special Forces unit (Operational Detachment Alpha, ‘A’).”
