The diversity shown by the company in recent years is undeniable. If you go off the list of “official” Disney princesses, there are no white characters from 1991 to 2010, which means that there is now a more ‘equalized’ representation, with a 50/50 split between white and non-white “royalty.” Granted, this is not to say there have not been any strong and white female protagonists during this 19-year period - Megara from Hercules and Jane from Tarzan are two examples that quickly come to mind. Giselle from Enchanted also would have made the “official” cut if Disney would not have had to pay Amy Adams for the rights to her likeness.
