Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton live in separate apartments!

Tim Burton is a big director who is known for his dark films. He directed “Edward Scissorhands” and “Sweeney Todd” among others. Carter is an eccentric actress who had a role in Burton’s adaptation of “Alice in Wonderland.” Carter and Burton have been together for 9 years. 

They have two children together, too. However, they live in separate apartments. Carter said it is because she is outrageously bossy and that Burton snores. Their apartments are joined by a door. 

They have separate bedrooms, living areas, and kitchens. Carter’s apartment is decorated very girly and Burton’s is dark with skeletons and weird lighting. The couple says that they both have their own space and prefer it. It has enhanced their relationship. 

They sleep in separate bedrooms due to Burton’s snoring and the fact that he is an insomniac who stays up watching TV. They are very committed to each other, but have no plans on ever marrying.
