Zappos’ employees can ride private jets for free!
A leaked memo from Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos, read that he joined the board of directors for private jet service, JetSuite.
Jetsuite has an offering called SuiteDeals, which is when empty planes fly around so they can be repositioned for other users. For the general public, the cost is $499 for SuiteDeals. However, thanks to Tony Hsieh's position on the board of directors, Zappos emloyees can ride those for free!
That's quite a deal, since the usual cost of a private flight with JetSuite is $4000 an hour! This isn’t the only perk to working for Zappos. Allegedly, they have vending machines that dispense freely and often buy their employees lunch! What kind of perks would you like your workplace to give to you?
