The U.S. Department of Justice found 16 uncontroverted facts concerning marijuana. The drug has been used for the past 5,000 years and is currently used by large numbers of people across the globe. 

In the U.S. alone, it is estimated that between 20 million and 50 million people smoke marijuana regularly, although it’s illegal. There is no credible medical report that suggests marijuana has caused a single death. Aspirin, however, causes hundreds of deaths each year. 

In order to induce death by marijuana, one would have to smoke 20,000 to 40,000 times as much marijuana as is contained in a single marijuana cigarette. Whatever you do, though, don’t say Challenge Accepted. A growing tide in the United States calls for the legalization of marihuana, hoping it will decrease drug violence. What do you think?
