Scientists have found huge colonies of Yeti crabs in the hydrothermal vents in Antarctica
Described as 'a sight from another planet,' scientists have found that there are huge colonies of a recently discovered species of crab.
The Yeti crab was only found in 2005 and made quite an impression for it's hairy and white appearance. The discovery has shed light on how they survive.
The hair on their bodies helps them grow bacteria which they later use to feed. Scientists were shocked because these communities are completely different than any other they've seen.
