A man fed his 70-plus exotic snakes with pets he "adopted" off of Craigslist!

Snakes that are kept as pets are technically allowed to be fed mice, whether they be live or killed by humane means and sold frozen. Anything else is considered inhumane and a violation of animal rights. Someone must not have told David Beauchemin of Texas this, or he may have thought his little scheme was deviously clever. Beauchemin allegedly posed as a pet adopter on Craiglist, and then when he received the animals he fed them all to the nearly 80 snakes he kept in a cargo trailer behind his motor home! Authorities found him in his residence with a large wad of cash - Beauchemin is now being charged with 22 counts of animal cruelty for his misdeeds.
