In the 1700s there was a woman who birthed 69 children. She completely holds the record for most children born to one woman. In total, she had 16 sets of twins, 7 sets of triplets, and 4 sets of quadruplets!
Out of the 69 children, 67 of them survived past their infancy. This information has been in circulation since the 1800s, and there have been doubts about how true the claims are. Nevertheless, the information presented was good enough for the Guiness Book of World Records to include this woman in their record books.
Kate Gosselin and the Duggar family have nothing on that lady!

Coconut water has been found to be a pretty steril and decently effective substitute for rehydration fluid. British and Japanese soldiers during World War II used coconuts in the emergency room. Another report in 2000 was of a stroke patient who was too ill to drink or use a nasal tube. He was successfully rehydrated with Coconut Water.
Although, Coconut water has fewer electrolytes and too much potassium, so it's not ideal and shouldn't be used in most stiuations. Also, we should note that this refers to Coconut water, not Coconut milk, which is grated coconut meat.

Researchers from Notre Dame conducted an experiment and discovered that doorways might play into how our brain stores memories. They separated people into two groups, traveling the same distance. One group passed through a doorway, the other didn't.
The ones that had to walk past a doorway were three times more likely to forget their task. The researchers think this is because doorways are "event boundaries," and that decisions made in one room are remembered and stored "in that room," and it's more likely to forget them once you're not in it. So now you know, if you want to remember everything, get a house that's one big giant room (results may vary)

In the first 90 minutes of sleep, you go through deepening stages ranging from light sleep to deep sleep.
Then you enter a phase called REM sleep (REM is short for Rapid Eye Movement) During REM sleep, the rest of your body essentially becomes paralyzed. The release of certain neurotransmitters are shut down and your large muscles do not move.
Some people have abnormal REM sleep in which those neurotransmitters do not shut down, and they act out their dreams. Most of the dreams we vividly remember happen during REM, as our brain has higher activity during this phase.
Dr. Frederic Leroy of L'Oréal research thinks really highly of hair. In his research he has found that a single strand of hair can hold about 100g (3oz) of weight. However, most people grow about 150,000 strands on their head.
According to Dr. Leroy, if we harnessed the strength of those strands, we'd be able to support 12 tonnes, which is 2 elephant's worth! Pound per pound, the Dr. says, it's not as strong as steel, but it's more like aluminium or Kevlar.

How is this possible, you might ask? The Ozark Medieval Fortress is a project that attempts to build an accurate castle from the 1400s! Even more interesting is that construction is only allowed using techniques and tools from the time period.
This plan was inspired by the Guédelon Castle, a similar idea in France to recreate a castle from the Middle Ages. Unfortunately, the Ozark Medieval Fortress recently ceased construction due to a lack of funds. The attraction is currently seeking investors or buyers to help keep the project going.
